Enthusiastic farm workers benefit from start-up grant

To maintain their wellbeing many of the residents with learning disabilities in Corbenic need the opportunity to be physically active and to work outdoors in the fresh air. The farm has always been a popular work option but it became quite tough to keep up with the heavy work when old equipment wore out. Camphill Foundation gave a grant of £5000 to as 'seed money' to kick-start fundraising for a much-needed new tractor and the parents' group was active in encouraging a wide variety of donors to contribute. The team of farm workers are very happy with their new 'workhorse'. It's given them a renewed burst of energy and enthusiasm!
