Lansdown Pottery, Stroud

Where people enjoy an oasis of creativity in an urban setting

Young adults with learning disabilities and also members of the public benefit from regular sessions at Lansdown Pottery, deriving great satisfaction from learning to create artistic and practical products which are both attractive and marketable to the general public. Camphill Foundation provided a loan for the purchase of a large kiln which made it possible for the pottery to make the transition into a thriving independent social enterprise, offering its service to the wider community as well as to people with learning disabilities, with remarkable results.
